Our annual crab feast was a big success! Our thanks to Higgins Crab House North for the hospitality and the fat crabs, tasty shrimp, chicken, corn and all the sides. Our wait staff was top notch! Thanks to all who attended. ☘️🇮🇪

rest in peace, Mike Higgins💚

Today, we’re remembering a local, a longtime friend and customer, and a dedicated member of the Irish community. Mike will be deeply missed by so many.

We were honored to raise a glass and play a song in his memory. Here’s to you, Mike. Sláinte. ☘️

Dear Delmarva Irish American Club Members,

It is with great sadness that I share the news of the passing of our longtime member and friend, Mike Higgins.

Mike, along with his wife Kathy, served our club for many years, with Mike as our Treasurer and both of them giving countless hours of their time and energy to the Delmarva Irish American Club. Mike was much more than our Treasurer. He was an important part of nearly everything we did, helping to organize our events, always willing to lend a hand, and becoming a close and trusted friend to so many of our members.

Mike and Kathy were preparing to leave Ocean City and relocate closer to family in the Annapolis area. We were sorry to see them leave our community, but none of us expected that we would instead be saying goodbye to Mike in this way.

Mike's friendship, dedication, and many contributions to our club will be greatly missed. He was truly one of the people who helped make the Delmarva Irish American Club the special organization it is today.

We will share Mike's obituary and information regarding services as soon as they become available. In the meantime, I ask that you please keep Kathy and the entire Higgins family in your thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time.

May Mike rest in peace. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by his many friends in the Delmarva Irish American Club.

Our Saturday Team working the b**r truck for the Delmarva Irish American Club at Springfest!

04/25/2026

Due to the forecasted weather and high winds, Springfest scheduled for Sunday, April 26 has been canceled for the safety of our community, vendors, and staff.

Thank you to everyone who came out and made the first three days of Springfest a great success. We look forward to seeing everyone again next year!
