On August 29, we recognize the men and women who have served and continue to serve in the Marine Corps Reserve, which was established in 1916 to provide a trained force ready to answer the nation’s call.

For more than a century, Marine Reservists have balanced service to our nation with careers, families and communities—answering the call whenever and wherever they are needed.
