The ceremony to honor Newt Perry with a Star on the Marion Theater Walk of Fame is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 24th, at 12 PM! This event is hosted by Ocala Main Street and is open to the public!

Celebrate an Ocala Legend! ⭐ Join us as we honor Newt Perry, the “Father of Florida’s Springs,” with a special Star Unveiling on the Walk of Fame. From his pioneering work in underwater filmmaking to his lasting impact on our beautiful springs, Newt’s legacy is a huge part of our local history.

When: Tuesday, February 24th
Where: 50 S Magnolia Ave & The Marion Theatre
Admission: FREE & Open to the Public
