So much of what we hold close — our everyday freedoms, the communities we build, and the moments we share with one another, exists because of those who gave everything before us. This Memorial Day, we remember and honor those who gave their lives in service to our country, and we carry deep gratitude for all they made possible. ❤️🤍💙

A button falls off. A hem comes undone. Your favorite shirt develops a tiny tear and suddenly it’s living in “the chair” instead of your closet. We’re fixing that.

Join artist and designer Geraldo (“G”) at ‘Sew WHAT?’ for a fun, beginner-friendly morning of practical hand sewing, good music, snacks, conversation, and learning the kind of sewing basics everyone wishes they knew.

Together we’ll cover:
• sewing on buttons
• repairing simple tears
• basic hems
• unraveling buttonholes
• hook-and-eye and snap repair for garments

Saturday, June 20 | 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Social hour begins at 10 AM with light snacks and a hydration station. Class with G begins promptly at 10:30 AM.

Class Fee: $20
Location: Marion Cultural Alliance

Look at these donations!✨

Thank you to everyone who joined us for Let’s Talk Hormones and contributed period care supplies for the Ocala Clothing Swap. Your support helped us create meaningful conversations around perimenopause and menopause, while also giving back to women in our community.

These conversations matter, and we’re grateful to have hosted a screening of The M Factor that created a space where women can learn, connect, and feel seen. We can’t wait to host another event like this in the future.

Know someone who would benefit from conversations like this? Share this post with them and invite them to join us next time 💜

Today is the last day to register for Let’s Talk Hormones. Join us at the Marion Theatre tomorrow from 11:30am - 1:30pm for a Menopause & Perimenopause Movie Screening, featuring Bubbles & Brunch from La Cuisine. You can register for this free gathering with the link in our bio.

Growing up, many of us were taught everything about getting our periods and having babies — but almost nothing about what comes next. For generations, menopause was treated as something women were simply expected to endure quietly. Today, more and more women are realizing they don’t fully understand why they feel the way they do — and without that understanding, it can be difficult for partners, families, and even healthcare providers to fully support them.

Let’s Talk Hormones: What No One Told Us creates space for the conversation we should have been invited into years ago.
