Veterans Helping Veterans USA was honored to host the 100th Birthday party for WWII Veteran Darrel Robert Hackett!

This was made possible by the Lead Mentor of Marion County Veterans Treatment Court and recent Marion County Veterans Hall of Fame inductee, Bruce Gonseth Sr.

A good number of Mr. Hackett’s family traveled from Michigan (GO BLUE) and California to be with him on this most special occasion.

We had a luncheon followed by a hearty rendition of “Happy Birthday" and calorie free cake and ice cream.

Happy Birthday, Mr. Hackett! 🇺🇸 🫡

A big thank you to Forest Moose Lodge 2535, Valued Veterans, the Moose Riders and the Moose Legion for their tremendous generosity! As the individual videos show with Ann, Bob, Roland and my beloved friend Jack, each organization donated $500 to Vets Helping Vets USA!
