Our Mission
The Inter-Americas Chaplains Association promotes quality chaplaincy care through advocacy, education, professional standards and service to the community. Objectives
– Strengthen the Christian inter-denominational, non-denominational, multigenerational and multicultural professional competency of chaplain

– Empower chaplains to demonstrate quality outcomes to those whom they serve.
– “Boots on the Ground to overlay and enhance other Ministries”
– Collaborate with accrediting and hiring institutions, as well as other organizations with which we have a common interest, in order to promote professional chaplaincy.
– Help IACA grow and get involved with: the support of First Responder Agencies, Hospitals, Corporate America, City, County, State, Federal and local governments
– Endorsement/involvements of major organizations through collaborative community programs

– $300 Fee includes: Courses, certification, credentials and ordination
– $80 Annual fee for recharge of ID –after 12 months
Who Becomes a Chaplain? A Chaplain candidate is not required to be a “professional” clergy person. (Most Post/Auxiliary Chaplains are not.) The qualifications are simple yet important:
– “Calling” from God
– A sense of spiritual maturity.
– A great listener
– A caring “Servant Leader” spirit person.
– A desire to help people – at any time
– The ability to keep things confidential. (Extremely important.)
– Willing to be neutral and objective when settling disputes.

– Cultivating a caring connection, a caring rapport, and a caring relationship in order to be allowed to minister JESUS CHRIST in a non-evasive way to all we minister to.
