William "Bill" Bradford Marren
Dec 7, 1969 - Dec 27, 2025

It is with overwhelming sadness that we announce the sudden passing of William "Bill" Bradford Marren, 56, on December 27, 2025 at HCA Florida Ocala Hospital.

Bill was born on December 7, 1969, in Miami and moved to Ocala in 1973. Growing up in Ocala he attended Happy Hearts, 8th Street Elementary, Osceola Middle School and Forest High School. He had a small stay in Orlando while attending and then graduating with an associate’s degree in graphics arts from Valencia College. After graduation, Bill wanted a good place to plant roots and raise a family which brought him back to Ocala.

As an adult Bill was very active in organizations that helped his community and state such as the Ocala Jaycees which he was active in for over 15 years, earning status of JCI Senator. While a Jaycee he worked hundreds of local and state community projects and chaired large local projects like God and County Day and Jaycee Haunted House. Later he became active in the Kiwanis club and the Honor Flights Network for veterans. An enthusiastic fisherman, he had a particular fondness for St. George Island and would be the first to show up after a hurricane to help clean up. All that while working at Concord Print Shop, the family-owned business with his father until he became shop owner in 2005. As owner he continued his dad’s support of church and community organizations while maintaining a family work environment.

Bill was a beloved husband, father, son and brother. A true Gator fan, he was active in the Quarterback Club. He had the Irish gift for gab and was a great storyteller. Bill had the ability to make you feel like you were there when he spoke of memories from his years working at Wild Water, going to the beach with friends, surfing, lake house "events", Jaycee conferences or a crazy soccer injury he got during thirty-something years of playing. But the music stories! With those stories you got the spark in his blue eyes and the biggest smile his goatee could dress up. He loved the concert atmosphere, the sounds...and those drumsticks.

Bill is survived by his wife of 24 years Lisa (Cordova) Marren; his sons Logan Marren and Wesley Marren; mother Joanne Marren; brothers Thomas (Veronica) Marren and Michael (Elise) Marren, and sister Jennifer (Richard) McDonald; proceeded by his father John Marren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 8th 2026 from 5-7 pm at Roberts of Ocala Funeral Home; 606 SW 2nd Avenue Ocala. Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated on Saturday, January 10th at 12:00 pm at Blessed Catholic Church: 5 SE 17th Street Ocala followed by a Graveside service at Highlands Memorial Park.
