Good Morning everyone! Alyssa is doing Great! she has finally started physical therapy and is making wonderful progress! She is so amazing and strong! She had her lung scans and they were negative! thank you Lord! I would like to say thank you for all your support and prayers through this journey we have been on! You all have helped keep us strong through this time. God is Great! Luke18:27 Lori

She is progressing slowly. We are hoping to go home monday. Doctors haven't said yet though. Thank you for your prayers. Luke 18:27

Just an update sorry it took so long, she was in surgery for 10.5 hours. I was so emotionally drained and exhausted that I didn't think to post an update. She had to get a blood transfusion today but was only able to get one unit as her temp continued to go up to 102.7. Temp is finally going down but they are monitoring her closely. Thank you for your prayers luke 18.27

Her Doctor just came out she is doing well, but neither of the areas were healed...so, they took the rod out and put a plate along the graph and now they are taking her fibula and artery out and placing it along side her femur :( she will be in surgery for another 2 hrs. Please pray for her. Luke 18:27

Alyssa just went into the OR. Please pray for her, and all the medical staff taking care of her.

Alyssa came down with a cold and so the surgeons cancelled her surgery this morning. Thank you for all the prayers. I believe everything happens for a reason and I trust in God's plan..... Luke 18:27

Alyssa is scheduled for surgery on Dec 20th. They plan to replace all hardware and take her fibula and put it and the artery by the femur. Please pray that she will have a successful surgery and pray for the surgeons that the Lord will guide them during surgery. And please pray that we get to be home for Christmas.... Luke 18:27

We are just finishing with Dr. Gibbs...it was a long day. Her lungs are clear! Thank you Lord!!!
However, she will be having another major surgery on her leg in dec. The doctors are contemplating on taking her lower leg bone (fibula) and placing it in the top also removing and replacing all hardware
