We are incredibly proud of our own Elsie for having the courage to share her story and remind us all of the importance of cherishing the moments we have with one another.

Su***de is a heavy topic, but it’s one we cannot afford to shy away from. Thank you to LSFHealthSystems for creating this platform and bringing our community together for such an important conversation.

May we continue to lift one another up, recognize when someone is struggling, and remind each other that asking for help is a sign of strength.

Cherish it. Check on each other. Be present. You never know how much someone may need it.

As Su***de Prevention Month comes to an end, the Marion County Zero Su***de Summit was held earlier this month, teaching the community about signs and resources.

We had a wonderful time at the Marion Oaks Health Fair! Our Marion Senior Services team enjoyed meeting so many wonderful members of the community, sharing information, answering questions, and spreading the word about the many services we offer to help Marion County seniors live safely, independently, and connected to their community. Thank you to everyone who stopped by to see us! We loved meeting you!

This National Co-Responder & Crisis Responder Week, we’re celebrating the incredible Senior Crisis Mobile Response Team at Marion Senior Services. 💙

Every day, they meet older adults in moments of crisis with compassion, expertise and a commitment to finding solutions that keep elders safe, supported and independent in their communities.

We’re incredibly proud to be the ONLY crisis response program in Florida dedicated specifically to serving older adults. This specialized work is possible because of a team that believes in collaboration, a community that believes in our mission, and supporters who invest in what’s possible.
