Psalm 40:1-2..."I waited patiently for the Lord; he turned to me and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand."

Good morning fam. God hears us even when the waiting feels long. David says that he waited patiently for the Lord, and the Lord heard his cry. God lifted him out of the pit and placed his feet on solid ground.

Sometimes we pray and wonder, “Lord, how long will I have to wait?” We may not understand why God has allowed us to go through a difficult season, but "waiting" does not mean God is absent. He is listening, working, and preparing us even when we cannot see what He is doing.

The “pit” can represent fear, trouble, uncertainty, or circumstances that seem impossible to escape. But God is able to reach us in the deepest places. He doesn't simply pull us out—He sets our feet on solid ground. He gives stability, strength, and a renewed sense of direction.

Today’s encouragement: Keep trusting God while you wait. Your current situation is not the end of your story. The same God who heard David's cry can hear yours. The same God that heard my cry can hear yours. Continue praying, continue believing, and continue standing on His promises. Amen?
