Tonight, our Oberlin Lions Club packed 100 bags of goodies for the upcoming Christmas Light Parade and visit from Santa!

Be sure to bundle up Next Friday the 28th and come join in the festivities!

100th Annual Halloween Clean-Up a Success!

Last night, four trucks and trailers loaded with 5th–12th grade students, rakes, and buckets took to the streets of Oberlin for the 100th Annual Halloween Clean-Up!

The students were able to reach every lawn that signed up (over 20) plus a few extras, including Good Sam, which wasn’t even on the list!

A big thank-you goes to Sage Bryan, this year’s Halloween Clean-Up General, for organizing all the trucks and drivers. Senior captains Valentina Enriquez, Tyler Ostmeyer, Myleigh Hays, and Shelbi Weigel led each group, keeping everyone on task and helping direct the drivers to the proper locations.

We also want to thank the dedicated DCHS teachers who volunteered their time to chaperone long after hours, and the Lions Club for providing a well-deserved meal for the students after the event.

This is truly a community tradition to be proud of — 100 years strong!
