So sad that this will probably be my last outing as Miss Oberlin as I will be passing on my title soon, but I am so glad that I was able to end it with a celebration of something so dear to me! I had so much fun at the 4th Annual Allen Parish Juneteenth Celebration in my hometown Oberlin, La. There was so many black owned businesses, artists, creators, and more! If you missed it you definitely missed something special! 💚❤️💛

Having the opportunity to do things like this is what I love most about this title❤️

I was invited to read to the sweetest elementary students at KES Black History Month Unity Day today!! Blessed to have the chance to spread love and show diversity all while doing it with this group of amazing ladies! Sometimes it only takes a simple thing or gesture to make the biggest difference in the world!

Thank you KES for inviting me and giving me the opportunity to mark” reading to elementary students” off my list of goals for my title reign. Doing little things like this is what made me compete for this title in the first place!

Continue to love everyone no matter race, hair texture, etc. Make sure to always show love to everyone.
