Oakwood Adventure Guides - OAG "Oakwood Nation" The memories Dads and their children make in Adventure Guides will last a lifetime. Come join us!

Adventure Guides programs launch parents and their children on a journey of discovery, with the child as the explorer and the parent as the guide. Adventure Guides encourages parents to get to know your kid while your kid is still a kid with group activities such as games, crafts, songs, stories, skits, ceremonies, and outdoor pursuits such as camping, hiking and swimming. The one-on-one time in a fun, special environment builds important bonds through shared experiences.

It’s time! Our Spring Campout at Camp Kern is here, May 8-10!  We still have a few Dad's who have signed up but haven't paid, you need pay up to show up. You should get an email if this concerns you.

The stars are aligning for our next gathering! We are thrilled to join the Miami Valley Astronomical Society (MVAS) for an evening of stargazing at John Bryan State Park. This event is FREE and open to the public—just come out and look for your fellow OAG members near the telescopes.

Many thanks to the families who came out for laser tag a few weeks ago. It was a great way to spend a Saturday, reminding our kids that, at least in some skill sets, we still got it.

Our Vandalia Rec night is rescheduled for February 7, 5:30-9:00. I'll resend the sign up tonight. If you already paid for food but cannot attend please reach out to get a refund.

This also means our movie night at the YMCA will be moving to a different date, more to follow.
