Bridging the Gap of Georgia Official Bridging The Gap Of Georgia Foundation - www.btg-foundation.org But whatever the economy, businesses benefit from having employees who are mentors.

Making the case for employer support of mentoring can be challenging in today's workplace environment. Mentoring boosts employee morale, increases satisfaction and loyalty and provides a meaningful way for the organization and the individual to give something back to the community. Mentoring is a sound investment. The time spent, just one hour during the work week can teach an individual about wor

k ethics and responsibility and improve their attitudes towards education, attendance and staying in school. By allowing employees the flexibility and support to mentor, you will provide them the opportunity to help improve their self-esteem and life prospects of people who will rejoin the workforce in the future. Our experience and the feedback we receive is that the mentors love it and the individuals' growth and development is improved through relationships with caring adults.

I just got this in messenger. Let's support Jason Schoellen and attend.

Heya Keith, I hope you’re doing well!

I’m helping to host our 2nd annual veterans dinner at church this year.

It will be Saturday, November 12th at 5 PM. Catering by Carrabbas and we’re having a veteran best selling author at the event.

More details below. Any chance you can spread the word with any and all veterans? We’d love to have them join us!

I’m happy to answer any questions you have!

Jason

The countdown has begun! Poker Run ‘21 is a week away! Polish up those bikes, and be ready to have a blast! All proceeds benefit Bridging the Gap of Georgia,a non-profit organization that assists veterans in need right here in Georgia!

Less than a month until Poker Run ‘21! Everything is coming together, and the only one who might not cooperate is Mother Nature! If that happens, we have a couple of options for ya:
A.) Rain? Who cares about a getting a little wet?
B.) Rain gear is a biker’s friend!
C.) Cages welcome!

That’s right, we don’t want you to miss out in the event of rain; If you want to stay dry, 4-wheeled vehicles are welcome! The run will be held, rain or shine!

Well, we survived the train wreck that was 2020, and as we venture into 2021, BTGG is being revitalized! Due to ongoing health issues, Keith Laseter, our beloved founder, has reached out for leadership assistance. Now, it's up to us to bring back Bridging the Gap stronger than ever! If you are interested in volunteering or know a veteran who may be in need of our assistance, please contact us.

Dear Friends,

As 2018 comes to a close and we are in the midst of the Christmas season, I find myself thinking back over the last year's highs and lows. While there was certainly enough lows for my family personally, and I am sure yours as well, it wasn't without plenty of blessings along the way. I find it important to take the time out of the busy schedule of the holidays and year end celebrations to thank those that had an important part to play in getting past the tough patches and had an integral part in the blessings.

So to all of those who have supported us at BTGG, either through being a donor, supporter, or just someone who receives our emails on occasion, Thank You.

From myself and my family and all of us here at Bridging the Gap of Georgia, to you and your family, Merry Christmas and God Bless.

Keith
