There is NO WATER at this park so please bring plenty with you. There is a bathroom.

Join us for a fun night of bowling at our March Pack Meeting! Scouts, parents, and siblings are all invited for an evening of strikes, spares, and Scout fun.

⏰ Time: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM (Bowling starts at 6 PM)
📍 Location: Poelking Lanes on Wilmington Ave
Please RSVP so we can reserve the correct number of lanes.

🎉 Scout Sunday – Pack 0151 🇺🇸

Join us as we celebrate Scout Sunday at Oakwood United Methodist Church! This is a wonderful opportunity for our Cub Scouts to serve, lead, and represent Scouting in our community.

🗓 Date: Sunday, March 15, 2026
⏰ Time: 10:15 AM – 12:00 PM
📍 Location: Oakwood United Methodist Church

Our Cub Scouts will be: ✅ Participating in a flag ceremony
✅ Helping with various parts of the church service
👉 Please arrive by 10:15 AM sharp so roles can be assigned and everyone is prepared.
👕 Uniform: Class A (full uniform)

You’re invited to join us as we celebrate the Cub Scouts of Pack 151 at our annual Blue & Gold Banquet—a special evening honoring our Scouts’ hard work and accomplishments!

📅 Date: Friday, February 6, 2026

📍 Location: Lutheran Church of Our Savior, 155 East Thruston Blvd in Oakwood.

Celebrate our Arrow of Light Scouts as they cross over to their Scouts BSA Troops
Recognize Scouts from other dens who have earned their ranks and awards

Please read carefully—there’s lots of important info below!

🔧 IMPORTANT CHECK-IN NOTICE
🚨 ALL cars MUST be checked in on THURSDAY evening prior to the Derby and must meet all Pinewood Derby requirements in order to race.
👉 This is your last chance to apply dry graphite powder to axles before arriving.
🚫 Graphite is NOT allowed inside the church (OUMC policy).

🏎️ Pack 151 Pinewood Derby Rules (Highlights)
✔️ Car must be built this year
✔️ Max size: 2.75” x 7” x 3.5” tall
✔️ Max weight: 5.0 oz
✔️ Only official derby kit axles allowed
✔️ No springs, liquids, bearings, washers, or bushings
✔️ Wheels may be sanded but must remain ≥ 1.170” diameter

Pack 151 Pinewood Derby Rules

🏁 General Rules
Cars must be built this year.
Maximum Dimensions:
Width: 2.75 inches
Length: 7 inches
Height: 3.5 inches
(Some kits may be slightly longer than 7” out of the box.)
Maximum Weight: 5.0 ounces
Only official Derby Kit axles may be used.
Maximum wheelbase: 4.75 inches
Wheel bearings, washers, bushings, or hubcaps are not allowed.
Cars may not ride on springs.
No liquid lubricants allowed.

Wheels:
Sanding is allowed
Wheels must remain at least 1.170 inches in diameter
Minimum ⅜ inch (0.375”) clearance under the car.
Cars will be checked in Thursday night prior to the Pinewood Derby.

⚠️ Lubrication Reminder
Dry graphite lubrication must be applied before check-in.
Graphite is NOT allowed inside Oakwood United Methodist Church.
