I remember that grandma Lilly was the first "green" person that I know of. There was a 55 gallon barrel for glass, 1 for tin and one for burnings. I remember taking the slop bucket across the street foe the hogs next to the big barn. Nothing ever went to waste. Gambrells have always been ahead of the curve!
