Hi Mosaic Harmony Friends, Family, and Fans! Happy !!

Thank you all who attended our Mosaic Harmony ’s Community Concert “Building and Celebrating Community with Music”! We had a wonderful time and we are so happy you were able to join us! It was a memorable and meaningful afternoon of inspirational music.

Special thank you to UUCF-Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Fairfax, Unity of Fairfax, and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Oakton!!

Our groups demonstrated how diverse communities can come together to recognize and support another worthy organization and the communities it supports. We clapped and sang together, leaving with hearts brimming with joy and a true spirit of celebration.

Perhaps it’s the delicate crocuses emerging from the earth that first catch our eye. Or the daffodils, bright and bold. Or the tender buds just beginning to appear on the trees. Maybe it’s the scent of freshly mulched garden beds. Each small detail signals change—a quiet announcement that something new is unfolding. Together, they proclaim that spring has arrived. The same is true in our lives. A stranger’s smile, the joyful laugh of a baby, a perfectly warm shower, the aroma of a favorite meal simmering on the stove—these simple moments bring calm and comfort. Together, they linger, wrapping us in feelings of joy, peace, and love.

We are so close to Mosaic Harmony’s Community Concert THIS Saturday, March 28, 2026 at 4 p.m., at Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Fairfax Oakton, VA.

Mosaic Harmony will be joined by choirs from UUCF-Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Fairfax, Unity of Fairfax, and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Oakton for an uplifting concert filled with musical messages of hope, encouragement, and joy. This year, is December 2nd and marks the launch of Mosaic Harmony’s Season of Giving. We need your help to advance our work and fulfill our mission. Donations allow us to keep doing good work every day, and it is people like you who make it all possible. Your contributions, through words, posts, purchases, and donations, allow us to continue our mission of Service Through Song.

Interested in spreading joy through giving? Spread the word about Mosaic Harmony! You can comment, like and share this information on your social media accounts. This way, you help spread the word to new and potential supporters about the work we do. Give us that extra boost by reposting it to your feed with a story about why our work matters to you. NINE Ways to Give
Thank you in advance for your gifts to Mosaic Harmony. Here’s what you can do to help:
1. Share posts from MoHa’s Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter pages to your personal profiles.

6. Make an unrestricted stock donation to Mosaic Harmony (see below for more information).

Win-Win with Stock Donations!
Mosaic Harmony is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, so when you make an unrestricted donation to us, you will avoid paying capital gains taxes. If you itemize deductions, you can deduct the full market value of the stock as a charitable contribution as long as you’ve held the stock for more than one year. If you’ve held the stock for one year or less, your deduction is limited to the amount you paid for the stock. This option is good for the giver, as well as for the organization! Consult your tax advisor for details. The MoHa Treasurer can provide more information about the process for donating stocks to MoHa. Contact the Treasurer at [email protected].

Donate with an IRA Charitable Distribution
U.S. tax code allows individuals ages 70-1/2 and above to make charitable gifts directly from a traditional IRA account to a charity without incurring federal income tax on the withdrawal. If you authorize the administrator of your IRA to transfer a donation directly to Mosaic Harmony, the amount donated will not be subject to federal tax and will be counted toward your annual minimum required distribution. Consult your tax advisor for details.

This year’s Interfaith Council of Metropolitan Washington Unity Walk will take place on Sunday, September 7, from 12:30 to 5:30 p.m. The Unity Walk will end at the Islamic Center of Washington, DC (2551 Massachusetts Ave NW, Washington, DC). Mosaic Harmony will perform three songs during the closing ceremony at the Islamic Center from 5:30 to 6:00 p.m.

Welcome Back Mosaic Harmony Friends & Family! Happy Labor Day Holiday !!

1. The FIRST Mosaic Harmony Rehearsal of the 2025 - 2026 season will be taking place THIS Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at 7:30 PM. 2. Mosaic Harmony is honored to perform once again at the annual Interfaith Council of Metropolitan Washington Unity Walk ( Interfaith Council of Metropolitan Washington ). The event brings together people from all faiths and backgrounds for a public display of solidarity and hope, celebrating the wonderful diversity that exists in our region.

This year’s Unity Walk will take place on Sunday, September 7, from 12:30 to 5:30 p.m. The Walk will begin at Washington Hebrew Congregation (3935 Macomb St NW, Washington, DC) and end at the Islamic Center of Washington, DC (2551 Massachusetts Ave NW, Washington, DC).
