🆘⁉️emergency placement needed⁉️🆘

I’m told he has until the 23rd.

This boy is an Aussie/german shepherd mix! Good with other dogs, cats, humans, and children. He does great with multiple dogs and is submissive to them. What a handsome good boy!! 💙

Not good with rabbits, chickens, and goats!

Can someone help me help him?

He’s located in the Graham county area.

Transport arrangements can be made.
He can (and needs to be neutered) and that is sponsored as well as updating any vaccinations.

Who can foster or better yet, adopt this boy?!

Real talk from Sara’s Saves (and would probably be seconded by every other rescue and shelter in the country right now)
Animal Rescue feels like you are mopping the ocean…but we will just keep trying.

What you can do to help:

1. STOP BREEDING YOUR DOGS!!
2. Stop getting dogs and then saying “I don’t have time for them to give them what they need” (I work 3 jobs and often times 12 hour shifts and I have 4 dogs that live at my house and a shelter to see about, this excuse will NEVER fly with me. They are better off home alone while you’re at work and will enjoy your love when you get home than at a shelter where they spend MOST of their time alone. And that’s IF they aren’t in a kill shelter where they will get euthanized for space).

3. Adopt don’t shop! The best dogs are rescue dogs and you’ll never convince me otherwise

6. Volunteer

7. Be an advocate

The following picture is my dog Maeve. When I check the cameras at the house that’s usually what they are doing….while I work 12 hour shifts. I bet she likes that couch more than being in a shelter. And she knows she will get all the snuggles when I finally get home (I probably need them more than she does some days so I’m the real beneficiary here)

Sweet Lady made her way to me today 🩷🐾

She’s fully vetted and ready for an adopter who can help her forget about all of her past trauma. Humans have let this girl down HARD, but she is still the absolute sweetest thing!!
