🎭 Help Us Keep the Curtain Rising in Oakley! 🎭
The Oakley Valley Arts Council is preparing for one of our most exciting productions yet — Peter Pan coming this July at the historic Howells Opera House!
As we prepare to welcome larger crowds and showcase incredible local talent, we are continuing major improvements to our beloved theater building. Current renovation projects include:
🧱 Exterior brick restoration and crack repair around the entire building
🎟️ Remodeling the entryway and concessions area to better serve guests with expanded amenities
🏗️ Continued improvements following last year’s parking lot and roofing projects
These renovations are essential to preserving this historic community treasure while creating a better experience for performers, families, and audiences for years to come.
The estimated cost of these improvements is approximately $22,000. We are committed to moving forward by using reserve funds alongside a matching grant from Idaho Heritage Trust — but we need community support to make it happen.
