Senior Nursing Home Visit

Yesterday, the elderly residents were overjoyed by a piano performance and a diabolo show. We also played with balloons and sang songs together, filling the room with smiles and laughter.
Seeing the joyful smiles on the seniors’ faces made our young volunteers incredibly happy.

Tzu Chi has been visiting this nursing home for over 15 years. We visit regularly on the second Saturday of every month from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. If you would like to join us on our next visit, please feel free to contact me!

安養院關懷探訪

昨天的探訪中，長者們在鋼琴演奏與扯鈴表演中露出滿滿的笑容。我們也一起玩氣球、唱手語歌，現場充滿歡笑與溫馨的氣氛。
看到長輩們臉上洋溢的笑容，年輕志工們也感到無比歡喜與感動。

親愛的菩薩家人，大家好！

跟大家分享，，昨天我們在暑假後的第一場校園眼睛檢查（Garfield Elementary）順利完成。此學校共為 67 位學生做了視力篩檢（screening），並為 13 位學生進行了眼睛檢查（full eye exam)，在這 13 位學生中，有 5 位需要配戴眼鏡，孩子們將在下週一拿到我們特別為他們準備的眼鏡。

特別感恩 Fresno 的溫師兄與 Olivia 師姐，這是我們第一次將眼科儀器搬運到學校進行檢查，非常感恩兩位特地從 Fresno 過來指導與幫忙🙏

We successfully completed our first campus eye screening following the summer break at Garfield Elementary School. A total of 67 students received vision screenings, and 13 students underwent comprehensive eye examinations. Among these, 5 students were found to require prescription glasses, which will be provided to them next Monday.

We are deeply grateful to Brother Wen and Sister Olivia from Fresno. This marked our very first time transporting ophthalmic equipment to a school site for examinations. Their dedicated effort in traveling from Fresno to provide guidance and support was invaluable, and we sincerely appreciate their contribution 🙏
