Such important work they are doing for something that makes Glenview truly special.
Over the past 30 years, we've grown in so many ways. 🌿 What began as a small native plant nursery built with eucalyptus poles, salvaged materials, and an old parachute for shade has grown into a large-scale professional space, and a hub for watershed restoration.
This year, we’re working towards an ambitious goal to grow 10,000 plants from 137 native species, including the endangered pallid manzanita. We rooted 70 from cuttings this year and have already returned 20 to their native habitat.
This work is only possible because of a community that cares. Every seed collected and plant grown reflects the dedication of volunteers, partners, and supporters investing in the future of the Sausal Creek watershed.
