Habitat Home Store We are a non-profit ecumenical Christian ministry located in Garrett County, MD. We accept cash, checks, and cards. There will be weekly or bi-weekly updates.

About the Habitat Home Store:
Everything in the store is a first come first serve basis. This site is not a selling site, we are just advertising what is in the store. Store Policies

All Sales Are Final

No exchanges, refunds, or returns

Appliances Only

If the appliance does not work properly, return them within 10 days from the date of purchase, along with the receipt and we will issue a full

refund. Hold Policy

The Home Store will hold sold items for 7 days max. If the items are not picked up after the 7 days, the item(s) will be placed back on the floor for sale, and the original sale will be treated as a donation to Garrett Count Habitat for Humanity. We cannot hold items without payment in full. Return Check Policy

Any check returned to Habitat for Humanity for uncollectible funds will be charged a $25 fee. If the uncollected funds and $25 fee are not paid upon request, Habitat for Humanity will prosecute. General Information

Garrett County Habitat for Humanity is seeking a Part-Time Home Store Manager to oversee daily operations at our Habitat Home Store in Oakland, MD. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys retail, working with volunteers, engaging with the public, and helping support affordable housing in Garrett County.

📍 Location: 5411 Hutton Road, Oakland, MD
🕒 Hours: Tuesday through Saturday, 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM

Responsibilities include:
✅ Managing daily store operations
✅ Supervising staff and volunteers
✅ Promoting the store and merchandise on Facebook
✅ Scheduling donation pickups
✅ Providing excellent customer service
✅ Maintaining an organized, safe & welcoming shopping environment
✅ Assisting with marketing and community outreach

Qualifications: ✔ Retail management or supervisory experience preferred
✔ Strong organizational and communication skills
✔ Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and Facebook
✔ Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
✔ Clean driving record and willingness to learn to drive a 16-foot box truck
