work maintains one of California State University, Northridge's best-loved campus spaces!

It takes major staff time and resources to maintain CSUN's famous Orange Grove Pond, with the hundreds of animals who call the pond home and the thousands of visitors who enjoy the pond every week. But CSUN Teamsters Spencer (left, Plumbing), and David (right, Grounds) are up to the task! Spencer and David are the pond's most regular stewards, maintaining the land- and hardscape, adjusting water levels for clarity, repairing the pond's liner, maintaining and adding plants, and coordinating with other Teamsters Skilled Trades workers in CSUN's Physical Plant Management department on pump, valve, and electrical maintenance and repairs.

Their dedicated work keeps the Orange Grove Pond shining for every visitor, human or migrating goose, to enjoy!

120+ members of Teamsters 2010 are in the State Capitol today, fighting for the laws and funding our schools and universities—including students, staff, and workers—need to thrive. Thank you to the 100+ member leaders who joined our Leadership Conference on Tuesday and Wednesday, united in our goal to make Local 2010 the leanest and meanest union in California education! 💪With a new agreement secured for LAUSD Teamsters, negotiations heating up for UC Teamsters, and the fight for CSU Teamsters' 2025 raises ongoing, our Union is prepared to fight for Teamsters workers at every step of the contract process.

More than 800 University of California workers in the Academic HR Analyst 1-4, HR Assistant 2-3 and HR Generalist 1-4 titles are now members of Local 2010! 📢📢

Effective April 28, our newest sisters and brothers joined our Union following a petition made to the state Public Employment Relations Board successfully arguing that the work of these unrepresented employees was wrongfully removed from our Teamsters CX Unit in years past. Now workers are back where they belong—united with California education's strongest Union and ready to fight for dignity and respect in the workplace! 💪
