We caught up with Coach Kameron at the end of the season.

ICYMI, Coach Kam was among the recipients for the first-ever Coaches’ Huddle Award, a new annual recognition celebrating coaches who go above and beyond for their players, teams, and the broader OLC community.

Coach Kam has helped spread the love of lacrosse across OUSD and the Oakland community with accountability, enthusiasm, and purpose.

He has represented the heart of OLC every step of the way: leadership, love for the game, and a deep commitment to helping young people grow on and off the field.

Career Day brought the professional world a little closer to home for Oakland Lacrosse Club Alumni and Summer Ambassadors.

This year we welcomed professionals from five different career fields to Oakland for a day focused on career exploration, confidence-building, and networking. Participants practiced telling their stories, explored how their interests could lead to different careers, and put their networking skills into action.

A special thank-you to long-time OLC supporter Accel-KKR for leading our morning workshop and our career panelists for sharing their experiences and advice:

We are also grateful to our player moderators, Sadie Anderson, a Skyline junior, and Cesar Carmona, a third-year Summer Ambassador, for designing the panel and leading the conversation. And a special shout-out to panelists Densel and Jake, who have both coached with Oakland Lacrosse Club.

Thank you to Accel-KKR, our panelists and all professionals who represented their career fields for helping Oakland youth recognize the skills, values, and experiences they already bring to the table and imagine where those strengths might take them next.

A huge thank you to our 2026 Summer Ambassadors! 🥍

For most of the summer, these incredible leaders brought their energy, patience, and love of lacrosse to younger kids across Oakland. They showed up ready to coach, encourage, connect, and help the next generation discover the joy of the game.

We are so proud of the dedication, growth, and leadership they demonstrated and grateful for the lasting impact they made on every field, at every site, and with every young player they coached.

Thank you, Summer Ambassadors, for representing OLC with so much heart.

Alumni Day 2026 was one for the books! 💜🥍

Thank you to every player, coach, family member, staff member, supporter, and alum who came out to play, reconnect, and celebrate the OLC community. Can you believe it’s been 14 years?!

Special thanks to WebCor for keeping everyone fueled with an incredible BBQ and to everyone who stepped up to the dunk tank and proved that, yes, dunking your coaches is absolutely a lacrosse skill. 😂🎯

Stick together. Keep growing. 🥍💜

Summer at Oakland Lacrosse is about so more than staying active. At our Stick Together Camp it's about building confidence, strengthening friendships, and creating a place where every player belongs.

For the second year, Stick Together brought middle school athletes together to learn the game, keep developing their skills, and stay connected to the Oakland Lacrosse community.

The future of Oakland lacrosse is already on the field. 💪

A big thank-you to Accel-KKR for joining Oakland Lacrosse Club for a summer playday at Laney College! 🥍

The Accel-KKR team didn’t just watch from the sidelines. They brought lacrosse experience and jumped right into the action: playing alongside our youth, serving as assistant coaches, and becoming the hype team for everyone on the field.

Special thanks to Nick and Annabelle for coordinating the visit, and to Lily, Philip, Ryan, and Peter for bringing so much energy and encouragement.

Summer playdays are all about creating space for young people to play, build confidence, and connect with others. We’re grateful to partners like Accel-KKR who show up ready to participate.
