The Most Critical Moments In Human History
~ 75,000 years ago the Mt. Toba Volcano Eruption -- the consequent damages and nuclear winter reduced the early human population below 10,000, and some say down below 2000 individuals, that would make ‘Humans’ an endangered species.
~ 50 years ago the Cuban Missile Crisis began, when Pres. Kennedy was informed by McGeorge Bundy of potentially nuclear armed missiles in Cuba. During the next 13 days, -- humanity, modern society, civilization and even most life on our planet may have come as close as they’ve ever come to annihilation. Thanks to cooler heads prevailing, -- especially Kennedy’s, -- over the objections of some of his more radically, extremist, military advisors (Gen. Curtis LeMay, for instance), -- thermo-nuclear war was averted and the possibility of a nuclear winter didn’t occur.
Fortunately, we will never know whether or not this was the closest we have ever, or will ever come to the annihilation of our species. It easily could have been.
~ Right Now. The “Global Threats/‘Perfect Storm’ Crisis.” Those who are awake, intelligent and paying attention can feel the subtle tug of a whirlpool forming, a vicious cycle as 20+ major, interrelated, mutually exacerbating, global threats begin to converge into a mega-crisis. Numerous global scientists and thinkers have picked 2030 (“The 2030 Spike,’) as the most likely center-point of the time range for a ‘Global Disaster Spike’/combined crisis, capable of creating an ‘Existential’ civilization level event for humanity. Number world-class scientists argue that 2020 is a more realistic expectation for major global crash.
Right now is the critical moment because, if we act now, through the WPC/TOPP, we can achieve World Peace in four years, and be converting 91% of our $8 Trillion in annual Global ‘War Costs’ to solving our Global Threats before by 2029. Given the momentum of most of these Global Threats, -- such as the climate catastrophe, the water crisis, fishery depletion, population growth, overconsumption, etc., -- we need to start right now to take a new course, if we want to avoid disaster. Waiting even a few years may mean that we’ve passed the point of no return and some significant level of major disaster is absolutely inevitable.
World peace is the only way we can solve our major Global Threats, -- because it is the only way possible, through which we can obtain the virtually complete ‘International Corporation’ and ‘Massive Investment of Resources, -- capital, human and natural, -- necessary to address these threats. Military spending is the largest reservoir of discretionary capital spending in the world.
TOPP is at present, the only practical, pragmatic ‘World Peace Plan’ on the boards, -- at least that we know of, to actually build a stable system to produce lasting World Peace and Prosperity. The WPC is the only developed strategy to actually be capable of achieving a world peace agreement.
Right Now -- is also a critical moment, ‘existentially’ and financially for the World Peace Campaign. Up until now, I've been the primary funder of the campaign, but, due to my own difficult circumstances and family issues, I'm not able to carry it anymore. Fortunately or unfortunately depending on your perspective, this funding crisis is coming just at the moment when we're beginning to get significant interest and the first serious potential for long-term funding.
So, if you have any interest in world peace (or you simply have children and/or grandchildren who will have to live through the next 50 years) this is the most critical moment for you to ‘step up’ and act. Your donation can ensure the survival and development of this young, but critical initiative.The single best, most beneficial thing we can do for humanity, present and future, and for our planetary environment is to gain adoption of the ‘Time Out for Peace Plan.’ And, the WPC is the fastest, best way that we know of to achieve it. (Short of someone getting Obama to adopt it as a campaign policy!)
