Oakland Cottage Industry We organize 1-2 events per year for artisans to share their work. To do so, we organize bi-annual artisan shows, held within our local Oakland community.

r in year-end 2012, most of us artisans ourselves, with the idea to create an opportunity for local artist support. At that time, we were called the Glenview Cottage Industry. We successfully organized our first Cottage Industry Show for the following Spring, 2013. The 2013 Holiday Show followed; then the 2014 Spring Show. Our next upcoming 2014 Holiday Show: Dec 6, 2014. We strive to help our artisan group to build on their artistic professional skills by sharing educational literature, and best practices. Topics include: successful vendor set-up (2013); social networking & marketing (2014), etc. Artisan Base
We have a solid following of at least 30 local artisan vendors and growing! Business Status
The Oakland Cottage Industry is a 501c3 non-profit organization.

"Form a crowd and stay loud." Whistle blowers know short whistle bursts indicate ICE is nearby. Downtown Nasty Women and others are taking resistance up a notch in pitch and volume.
