It is a confluence of writers, performing artists, musicians, and other like-minded souls, dreaming transformation into life on the streets, sidewalks, and community spaces of our beloved Oakland. When "East Bay" is translated from pig latin to English, the result is "Beast." While many Beast Crawl Festivals have traditionally gone on four legs, we are fashioning new ways to present the Festival. Beyond
