Assemblymember Ramos has championed community-based programming inside California prisons, including through the RIGHT Grant, which provides vital funding for GRIP and other programs supporting rehabilitation and reentry.

🎉 We’re excited to announce Warren Hands as our Bernard Moss Peacemaker Awardee at GRIP Honors 2026!

After 32 years incarcerated, Warren paroled in 2023 and has transformed his lived experience into a powerful instrument for healing. A GRIP graduate and former facilitator, Warren has dedicated his life to service—supporting others on their own journeys of healing and transformation.

Today, through his work with UnCommon Law, Warren leads healing circles in maximum-security prisons and helps oversee the Home After Harm Program.
