Allen Temple Baptist Church - AIDS Ministry We work to combat the fear and prejudice that surrounds HIV/AIDS by providing critical testing, linkage to care, as well as prevention education.

The Allen Temple AIDS Ministry of the Allen Temple Baptist Church was founded in 1987 by Dr. Robert C. Scott, and then pastor Dr. J. Alfred Smith, Sr. The Allen Temple Baptist Church AIDS Ministry, a faith-based organization, seeks to combat the fear, prejudice and lack of knowledge that surrounds HIV/AIDS by providing critical medical and social services, as well as prevention awareness education

. Our efforts focus deeply and solely on two geographic areas of the world presently in crisis: East Oakland, California and Zimbabwe, Africa.
