Oakland, what a weekend! 🎉

We just wrapped up the finale of our inaugural Scraper Bike 6-Month Empowerment Program, and we celebrated in true Town fashion!

Huge shoutout to our incredible partners— Black Boys to Become Great Men, legendary Pitmaster Garnet "G Stacks" Geoffroy (G-Stack Grills), and Greens, Wings & Healthier Things—for teaming up with The Original Scraper Bike Team.

Together, we hosted an unforgettable hands-on BBQ workshop and year-end cohort celebration for Black youth (ages 8–24) and their families at Arroyo Viejo Park. From learning the secrets of the grill and exploring culinary entrepreneurship to enjoying great music, games, and a massive feast in the sun—it was a powerful day of community, tradition, and empowerment.

Thank you to everyone who came out to uplift our young men! 🚲🔥🥩

What an incredible weekend! This past Saturday, we teamed up with the East Bay Regional Parks District and Boyz in da Hood for an unforgettable community event out at the Martin Luther King Jr. Regional Shoreline.

It was all about bringing our people together, celebrating the culture, and enjoying the beautiful Oakland waterfront. From youth riders showing off their style to families soaking up the sun and good vibes, the energy was unmatched.

A massive shoutout to everyone who came through, rode out, and supported the movement. Special thanks to the East Bay Regional Parks District and Boyz in da Hood for partnering with us to create a safe, vibrant, and positive space for the town. We are stronger when we build together!

Huge love and gratitude to everyone who showed up for the Scraper Bike Team! 🚲✨ After the recent break-in at The Shed, we were feeling the weight of the loss—but this community lifted us right back up.
Because of your generous donations, we’re already working on getting our tools back and securing the space. You didn’t just replace equipment; you kept the wheels turning for the youth. We’re still here, we’re still riding, and we’re stronger because of you.
