Last July, we interviewed Chasity, the owner of Town Biscuits, and learned the story behind Oakland’s beloved Southern-style breakfast spot.

Join one of the most exciting Oakland Roots matches of the season as they take on rivals Sacramento Republic on Saturday, July 25 at 7:00 PM at the Oakland Coliseum! 

Thanks to Oakland Roots SC, KONO community members can purchase discounted group tickets for just $21 each.

We Want to Hear From You: Share Your Thoughts on Sunday Parking 🅿️

In Oakland, citywide parking meters are actively enforced on Sundays from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.. Around the high-traffic Lake Merritt area, meter enforcement is extended from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.. The standard hourly rate is $3, and all vehicles must be paid or face citations. 

If you own, work at, or visit a business in KONO, your feedback will help us better understand how these proposed changes could affect local businesses, employees, customers, and the neighborhood.
