Mindful Birthing and Parenting

Mindful Birthing and Parenting Mindfulness-Based Childbirth and Parenting (MBCP) Program with Nancy Bardacke, CNM

The birth of a child is truly a beginning, not only of a new being entering this world, but of individuals becoming or deepening their role as a parent. Mindfulness-Based Childbirth and Parenting (MBCP) Program has been created to serve those going through this profound transformation and who then continue to work at one of the most important, joyous and stressful jobs on the planet, that of nurturing and caring for the next generation.

Patience.

Some things unfold in their own time and cannot be rushed, including a birth, a healing, a hard season of parenting. Patience is not passive. It is an active willingness to let things be as they are while they become what they will be.

"Parents can be present instead of wishing away the rough spots."

ONLY 2 MORE WEEKS

Registration is open for our last Mindful Birthing class of the year.

There is so much information out there, and your mind can be constantly pulled between the past, the present, and the unknown of the future. Right now, you have a choice. To be present. To feel the ground beneath your feet. To find something that shows you how to be with fear, with pain, and with the pleasant and unpleasant of birth, parenthood, and simply being human.

Join our trusted, deeply knowledgeable faculty. They will give you tools, formal and informal meditative practices, that you can use as you prepare for birth, move through birth, and step into everything after.

Choose Mindful Birthing to support you on this journey. Based on the book Mindful Birthing by Nancy Bardacke, translated into ten languages.

Last week was something special, and now you can watch the whole thing.

Our panel "Sustaining a Mindful Birthing Practice: A Business Conversation" is recorded and ready. Carol O'Donoghue, Kelly Trese, and Jen Moffitt got honest about the contractions of running a practice, the pleasant moments and the hard ones, and the mindfulness that carries them through the different seasons of this work.

No highlight reel. Just real lessons from teachers who have stayed in it, personally and financially.

Whether you have been teaching for years or are just finding your footing, there is something here for you. Watch the full conversation on YouTube: https://youtu.be/XJrYUYATMKM

Know someone who would get a lot out of this? Send it their way.

How do I offer something deeper than logistics and coaching, and charge accordingly for it? We hear this from doulas, midwives, therapists, and yoga teachers.

If you have built a practice around this work, you know it has its own contractions. The stretches where everything flows, and the stretches where it does not. The seasons of doubt, the quiet wins, the parts no one warns you about.

On Thursday, August 13 at 7:00 PM ET, we are gathering experienced Mindful Birthing teachers for an honest conversation about building a practice that lasts, personally and financially. No polished highlight reel. Just what has actually helped people stay in the work and keep going.

We will sit with three questions:
What has gone well in building your practice?
What one tool, habit, or approach has helped you sustain the business side of the work?
What mindfulness practice is resonating for you right now, and how does it help you stay with the hard parts?

You will hear from:
Jen Moffitt, CNM, MSN, Director of Training for Mindful Birthing
Carol O'Donoghue, CNM, MFT, PMH-C
Kelly Trese, PhD
and me, Marrelle Hancock, RYT and Mindful Birthing teacher

Whether you have been teaching for years or are just finding your footing, there is a seat here for you.

Trust.

Not blind optimism, and not a promise that everything will go the way you hoped. It is the willingness to meet your experience as it unfolds, and to believe you can be with it.

"Be more aware that our next breath is the future."
