Throwback Thursday!

Before the group chats and endless scrolling, what did you look forward to after the school bell rang?

Sports, arts & crafts, music, games, or just kicking it with your friends.

It’s more than paint on a board. It’s expression. It’s creativity. It’s art.

Our Get Active team brought an opportunity for the students at Melrose Leadership Academy to explore writing, design, and self-expression—from putting their ideas on paper to bringing them to life with wood and spray paint.

There’s something powerful about giving young people the space to create something that starts as an idea and becomes something they can actually see, touch, and say, “I made that.”

That’s what after-school can be.

You came for the job. You stayed for the people. đź’śđź’›

There’s something special about working alongside people who care about the work, the community, and the young people we serve.

Here’s to the people who show up, build relationships, and make the work matter. 🫶🏿

Come be part of it.

A lot happens behind the scenes to make our programs possible. đź’ś

We brought our team together to celebrate what we've accomplished, connect with one another, and get ready for what's ahead.

From sharing wins to strengthening our teams, we're continuing to build together—with young people at the center of the work.
