🚨 Just one day left! 🚨

Tomorrow is our deadline to raise $10,000 and stay on track to unlock a $25,000 matching gift by June 30, in support of enriching summer programs.

So far, our community has helped us raise $4,319, which leaves $5,681 left to raise by midnight tomorrow!

This summer, 80 rising 8th and 9th graders are spending four weeks on the Cal State East Bay campus, where they're exploring something new every day!

Visiting partners like Aspire Cricket bring learning to life introducing participants to experiences they might not otherwise have access to. Last summer, they taught girls the fundamentals of the sport—from batting and bowling to fielding and game strategy—while helping them build teamwork and perseverance along the way.

The learning extends beyond campus, too. This summer, participants will visit the WTS SF Bay Area Chapter Girls Summit at Salesforce, where they'll connect with women leaders in transportation, engineering, and technology. They'll also visit Denali Therapeutics, a biotechnology company developing treatments for neurological diseases.

❤️ Every gift made before June 30 will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $25,000.

Can you help us reach our $10,000 goal by tomorrow?

🚨 Help us raise $10,000 by THIS FRIDAY 🚨 Keep us on track to unlock a $25,000 matching gift by June 30!

Your support today can help ensure our rising 8th and 9th graders continue to have access to transformative summer experiences at Cal State East Bay (CSUEB).

This summer, 80 rising 8th and 9th graders are spending four weeks on the CSUEB campus, where they're conducting science experiments in university labs, practicing swimming in the campus pool, participating in STEM activities, and experiencing college life firsthand.

For many participants, it's their first time spending significant time on a college campus.

"Being here makes college feel more real," shared one participant. "It makes me excited to learn more about going to college after high school."

Experiences like these help girls envision what's possible for their futures while building new skills, confidence, and connections.

❤️ Every gift made before June 30 will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $25,000.

Will you help us reach our $10,000 goal by Friday and unlock the full match?

Six summers ago, Cataleyah arrived at Girls Inc. of Alameda County’s Concordia Park summer program feeling quiet and shy because she didn't know anyone. On her very first day, she met Gia during a “pair and share” activity and years later, they’re still best friends.❤️

"We don’t even go to the same school, but girls from a bunch of different schools can come to Concordia. I think that’s really special because if it wasn’t for this summer program, we wouldn’t have met."

This is the power of summer programs that create spaces where girls feel safe, supported, and connected.

For more than two decades, our summer camp at Concordia Park has provided free, full-day enrichment opportunities for girls in East Oakland — helping them build confidence, form lasting friendships, discover new interests, and stay engaged academically.

Right now, every gift made before June 30th will be matched dollar for dollar up to $25,000.

Help us ensure more girls have access to enriching summer opportunities.❤️

We are proud to celebrate the 31 graduating seniors who completed Girls Inc. of Alameda County's College Access Now! (CAN!) Program this year.

CAN! is an intensive college-prep and career readiness initiative that provides students with hands-on support in college applications, financial aid navigation, scholarship searches, essay writing, mentorship, campus tours, and post-secondary planning.

This year marks the 12th consecutive year that 100% of CAN! participants have been accepted to post-secondary institutions. Many of these graduates will also be the first in their families to pursue education beyond high school.

At Girls Inc. of Alameda County, we know there is no single definition of success. While 92% of this year's graduates will attend college this fall, others are pursuing different opportunities, including entering the workforce. We are proud to support every young person in identifying and pursuing the path that aligns with their goals.

Congratulations to the Class of 2026. Your futures are full of possibility, and we are honored to be part of your journey.
