The Oakland Chinatown Coalition is a broad, neighborhood based coalition of service and community based organizations, businesses and professionals, churches, and residents who live, work, play, and shop in Chinatown. We advocate for and work to implement planning to make nine key improvements to our neighborhood through a strong community engagement process: public safety, access to jobs, afforda

The Oakland Chinatown Coalition will be co-hosting a Community Listening Session with Mayor Barbara Lee.
 
✨What: Oakland Mayor Barbara Lee Community Listening Session
⏰When: Tues, July 29 from 4-5:15pm
📍Where: Oakland Asian Cultural Center
Simultaneous interpretation in Cantonese and Mandarin will be provided.
 
This is one of a series of city-wide listening sessions held by the Mayor for communities to learn about the City’s efforts around public safety and to connect and hear directly from community members and leaders, public safety teams, and service providers about our concerns and priorities. Community members can submit their questions for the City heads ahead of time through the RSVP form or during the event.
