Another year with our students. Some familiar faces, some new. And once again, we begin where we always begin—with identity.
What’s your name? Where does your family come from? What do you know about your culture?
Simple questions, yet they open the door to powerful conversations about who we are, where we come from, and the stories we carry.
Every year, we start from the beginning, not because we have forgotten, but because every student deserves the opportunity to discover their roots, find their voice, and take pride in their identity.
Before we can help our students discover where they are going, we must first help them understand where they come from.
And so, another year of learning, connecting, and belonging begins. 🌺
