Works in Progress: An Open Mic for Women Every other month performance space for women poets, musicians, comediennes, and performance artists. (No one turned away for lack of funds.)

Dear Sapphic sisters,

Sadly the coronavirus is still with us. Because of that we are forced to cancel Works In Progress this Saturday, August 8.

We certainly miss all of you and your fine and delightful craft. We hope you continue to share with those who are close to you.

We trust that you are taking good care of yourself and staying well. We truly look forward to seeing you again. We hope that we can all reunite soon as an artistic community of women and share together in the near future.

We will keep you posted. Until we meet again, we send our fondest blessings and affection.

Dear Sapphic sisters,

As we all realize, the shelter in place rule is still in effect in Alameda county.

Therefore, we have decided to cancel Works In Progress scheduled for this Saturday, June 13th.

We are sad to announce this. However, we hope that your creative juices will keep flowing until we artists can meet again and share on Saturday, August. 8

We will miss you and hope and pray that you stay well and are filled with an electric spirit.
