Works in Progress: An Open Mic for Women Every other month performance space for women poets, musicians, comediennes, and performance artists. (No one turned away for lack of funds.)

Hi Friends & Family of Patty Overland also known as Super Crip girl to many!
With much help with editing from David Flores & Helen Walsh ( Patty's friend)
from Berkeley Community Media during the last 7 months, we edited several interviews I did with Patty and one with her sister Jeanne . It is included in the full length 39 minute version which will have a premiere soon.

I hope you enjoy Patty's celtic warrior spirit in this promo.
Since July is Patty's birthday month she turned 73 years old on July 1st and always threw a party with her friends. I was hoping to throw a premiere party in July or as soon as possible!

I hope to secure a time & date. I was planning on having a screening at Redwood Gardens or Ed Roberts Campus. However, I have been unable to reach neither one of these venues after several calls & emails. If you know of other accessible/ affordable venues that we could have a a large screening & community reception, please let me know.
In the meantime, please spread the word since I do not have many of Patty's friends emails or contact info. ( please tell Dana).
