Peer Health Exchange at UCLA No Longer On UCLA Campus Peer Health Exchange’s mission is to give teenagers the knowledge and skills they need to make healthy decisions.

PHE offers health education to 9th graders in the greater Los Angeles community and aims to give teenagers the knowledge and skills they need to make healthy decisions. We do this by training college students to teach a comprehensive health curriculum in public high schools that lack health education.

We have a few high school students from Luskin visiting UCLA today for shadow day! Two of them came into my work and said they had Peer Health Exchange last year and really enjoyed it. Such a great feeling to be reconnected with past students!

Last week, LAUSD students were on the bus that was involved in the tragic accident that resulted in the loss of 10 lives - including two seniors from one of our Partner High Schools, Denise and Ismael. We are deeply saddened by this heartbreaking news and are keeping their families and loved ones in our thoughts as we go in to teaching at these schools the next few weeks.
