A little more grateful today. 💛🎶

We had the opportunity to experience the Red Clay Strays live in Orlando last night and we’re feeling especially grateful for the friends who bring us along, open doors, and help us build meaningful relationships in the music community.

With a tour centered around gratitude, it felt like the perfect reminder of why these connections matter so much.

As you know, we believe everyone deserves the chance to experience the joy, connection, and healing power of live music! For people living with a life-threatening medical condition, children with severe disabilities, and wounded veterans, that experience can mean everything.

Thank you to the friends who welcome us in, believe in our mission, and help us find more ways to get people where the music is. We’re grateful to be part of this community. ✨

Kayley’s wish came true! ✨

Living with Spinal Muscular Atrophy, Kayley navigates challenges every day, but on September 24, it was all about music and making memories with her best friend, Marissa. 💜

“Getting to see Staind live was incredible, but what made the night so special was getting to experience it with my best friend, Marissa,” Kayley shared.

We were honored to grant Kayley’s wish!

There’s something special about coming back to the Suwannee Music Park, where the memories and the magic all feel a little extra meaningful.

Our first wish was granted here. And that moment inspired Michael Franti and Sara Agah Franti to create Do It For The Love. ❤️

We’ll always have a little extra love for this place.

So… should we come back in 2027 for our 15th birthday with Michael Franti?! 👀 Hint hint, Michael… a Do It For The Love Music Festival 😉🎶

Over the years, Nahko has helped us grant so many live music wishes, creating unforgettable moments for wish recipients!

We love catching up with friends, supporting live music, and getting to experience the very thing we work so hard to give others, the chance to forget everything for a little while, be present, and just feel the music. 🎶 As Nahko says, “I believe in the good things coming.”✨

Abby wished to see Shaboozey because music has always been more than music. It’s been joy, comfort, hope, and a way to make beautiful memories with her husband, Al. 💛🎶✨

After the show, she told us: “Music is our love language. Throughout my years of living with metastatic breast cancer, music has brought so much happiness into our lives, even during some of the hardest times. It has given us something to look forward to, helped carry us through difficult days, and been the backdrop to so many of our happiest memories together.” 🎶

We’re so grateful we could give Abby and Al a night of pure happiness and a beautiful memory. 💛

Meet Mary Beth 🎨, a Florida-based artist who generously donates her time and talent to Do It For The Love.

She’s the creative force behind some of our T-shirt designs, and for our latest one, she took it a step further, personally hand-stamping each tee using a hand-carved design and rolled ink.

Our volunteers are such a huge part of what makes this organization special. They give their time, their talents, and their hearts to help us grant more live music wishes.
