I trust that this reaches you in good health and spirit. This is a invitation/reminder in regards to our HEALING HIKES on Sunday. This Sunday, Nov 17 we will be organizing folks from past and present to connect with us in Roberts Park. We will be meeting at our same location ( Redwood Glen Trailhead) at 10am.

For those that need to caravan to the location, please meet us at Farmer Joes on Fruitvale at 9:30am sharp. We will be leaving by 9:40 in order to meet at the trail for 10am. Pls text me directly if you have any questions. Look fwd to connecting with you all on Sunday.

What is Radical Joy?

Calling all Akili Youth!!!

Come to our next Akili Gathering this Sunday November 3rd from 10am-2pm. We will be exploring Radical Joy, The love Of Sisterhood, how to have Restorative Conversations and awaken or inner child.💕

As, mentioned at our last session, we hope to have many more gatherings throughout the year centered around us coming together and building.
Our next gathering will take place this coming Sunday November 3rd from 10am-2pm at Studio To Be located at 906 Washington St., Oakland Ca 94607.
This gathering is an open invitation to all youth who attend this year’s Camp Akili.

The day will consist of three experiential workshops (For the love of sisterhood, Restorative Conversations, and Radical Joy) facilitated by Sister T, Sister Rae’chel, and Brother Marc Anthony. Food will be provided, all we ask is that you be present and prepared to play, have fun, and love our inner child.
