Dear supporters of Green Branch, we had so much fun and success with our Pop-up Reading Room at the Berkeley Farmer's Markets a few years ago, that Shari Leskowitz had to do it again! Starting May 1, The Community Classroom and Shari will be bringing STEAM excitement to the public with our mobile planetarium on wheels. An accompanying Pop-up Reading Room is full of beautiful children's books that focus on scientists of color and women whose scientific discoveries remain covered and need to be amplified. As with Green Branch, our mission is to bring free, high-quality educational materials out into the public space, in order to make it accessible to all.
