Palomacy Pigeon & Dove Adoptions Palomacy is pigeon diplomacy. We save domestic (unreleasable) pigeons & doves' lives. PO Box 27148, Oakland CA 94602 Palomacy is pigeon diplomacy!

Volunteer-foster homes in the SF Bay Area provide safety & care to hundreds of rescued birds awaiting adoption. In 2007, all the animals in SF Bay Area shelters had at least one rescue to help them get adopted - all except for the domestic pigeons and doves. These beautiful, gentle, smart birds were being routinely killed for lack of adopters. Palomacy (originally named MickaCoo) was created to repair that deadly gap in the animal welfare network. Palomacy saves the lives of domestic (unreleasable) pigeons and doves by providing avian vet care, foster homes and placement into wonderful non-breeding, non-sporting homes. We also provide humane education, rescue and referral services. Palomacy is a one-staff plus volunteers-powered, donation-supported nonprofit project of Community Iniatives. www.PigeonRescue.org

Jennifer wanted a pigeon aviary — she put her mind & hands to work, and would you look at this lovely, amazing, well-built, safe and welcoming home! We were so happy to deliver Sultan, Spitty, Jazzy, and Amelia to their comfy new digs. These are all birds that Jennifer and her daughter met & connected with at the Pet Food Express Pet Fair. It was love at first snuggle! We’re delighted to have this family in the Palomacy community.

There is so much to tell about the International Pigeon Advocacy conference and as soon as I find stable WiFi I’ll give a report…but for now I just want to tell everyone that on the second floor of the Sainsbury Wing in the National Gallery in London, Mary Magdalena has snatched up and abducted a squeaker from somewhere 👀
