Apparently, Woodland Hills Country Club is dangerous. 🦁⛳️

So dangerous, in fact, that 398 new homes are now stuck because the golf course was determined to be mountain lion habitat.

When a housing project gets stalled by a golf course’s alleged mountain lion habitat, it’s worth asking some questions.

Tell LA City Council to show the evidence and let these homes move forward.

Why is a Los Angeles golf course being treated as mountain lion habitat? 🦁⛳️

A 398-home project at Woodland Hills Country Club has already faced multiple attempts to sidestep California’s housing law.

When those didn’t work, LA City Council's mountain lion habitat determination stalled the project.

This isn’t just about one golf course in California. It’s about what happens when cities find new ways around laws designed to make it easier or cheaper to build housing.

Berkeley approved 7-story zoning along 2.3 miles of San Pablo Avenue, creating capacity for up to 6,500 new homes.

That's a major step toward making it easier to build more homes in one of the Bay Area's most expensive regions.
