Pres.Biden, Secretaries Blinken and Austin were charged in the Oakland federal court today--Jan. 26, 2024-- with being complicit in genocide.with Israel of Palestinians. The Center for Constitutional Rights- CCR-put together a case involving human rights groups of Palestinians and US citizens with relatives in Gaza. The court was asked to "declare that defendants have violated their duty under customary International law, as part of federal common law, to take all measures within their power to prevent Israel from committing genocide against the Palestinian people of Gaza. Hundreds, maybe a thousand, of supporters organized a demonstration outside. I was there myself. I met my old friend, David Solnit, the source of so many signs calling for social justice. We first met in Immokalee when my daughter was working to free tomato pickers from bad working conditions, even slavery in some cases. That was back in the 80's. Wow and David has been pushing for social justice the rest of his life! Keep in touch with this court case!
