There's a bit of truth today to get you pondering on your attitude towards God. You are either intentionally moving towards Him or you are drifting away.

"The natural currents of our sinful soul pull us in the opposite direction [of God]. To move in the direction of God, we have to swim again the current." Whoa baby, that is some TRUTH right there.

We arrived in Busia, Uganda after a 5-hour car ride from Entebbe. Seeing the bustling village life as we traveled was so exciting to us, although I kept falling sleep! Jet lag is real, people! But we arrived no worse for the wear. Thank you for praying for Mr. Stockdale’s back. It is tender but not worsening.

There are 8 of us in the team and last night we were all together for dinner. An avocado shake and an avocado salad was my choice. In Uganda the avocados are fabulous and freshly plucked from the tree.

Today we will go to Patrick’s church and get to see some of the friends we made last year. This afternoon we will drive to the location that we will train at and begin teaching tomorrow. We dearly love Uganda and her precious people. Getting to return is overwhelmingly joyful!

Hello form the other side…Thanks to all the prayer warriors who have lifted our names to the Father after Craig’s fall! I told him I was going to share it on FB to bring in the “BIG GUNS” and get us more prayer cover! You all have rallied to the call. We have just gotten back to our hotel after our second day of training. Craig has been in a great deal of pain and sat down to teach most of the day. God has granted unusual power as Craig has walked in obedience to His call. I am very proud of him. The people are too precious for words and I will be sharing some pictures and some of our stories. Please continue to pray as we trust God and His divine providence! God is good!!

Our ministry, Standing Near the Cross, will be sponsoring ministry in Uganda at the end of our trip to Kenya. Craig and I will be teaching a 3-day Marriage Conference. Craig and I wrote the material for this conference and are having it translated and printed for each participant, all of whom are church leaders and many are leading house churches. This will allow them to teach the material to their community. We are also purchasing Bibles to give to each couple. So many of them do not have a Bible so we are especially excited about this! Craig will be preaching a Mega Crusade and doing a church service, and we will spend a day visiting families who have received a goat from our Goat Ministry. Many of these families are attending the Good News Bible classes and have already made a decision to follow Jesus!! Praise God!!

As we prepare to head out in a couple of days, our hearts are so full. We praise God that He has raised me back up after my recent cancer battle and allowed us to resume international travel. I am throughly convinced that all the prayers you dear ones have lifted on my behalf has played a large part in my healing and restoration!! We are humbled and blessed by your kindness!! Please pray for supernatural strength and health for both of us. We do have a 2-day respite in between teaching Pioneer Evangelism in Kenya and the work we will do in Uganda. I will post lots of pictures and we invite you to travel along with us. And we greatly appreciate your prayer support.

So we did a thing . . . We recently made a trip to SE Asia. It is the first international trip we have taken since before I was diagnosed and treated for cancer. We were concerned about my physical strength and stamina, as I am still dealing with ongoing fatigue. BUT we believed God had orchestrated this travel so we rested in God’s ability to provide what I needed. We stand amazed at the ways God met this weakness and provided strength for the task at hand. What a blessing!

We are now dealing with some serious jet lag but we have returned with a fresh vision of what God is doing to make Jesus known!

And I just LOVE it!
