CalABA is accepting applications for the Public Relations/Marketing Chairperson position as part of the upcoming Board of Directors election.

This leadership role helps guide CalABA’s communications, branding, outreach, marketing strategy, and public visibility across California. The Chairperson works closely with Board committees to support conference promotion, advocacy efforts, membership engagement, and organizational growth.

This position includes:
• Leading CalABA’s marketing and communication initiatives
• Managing branding, messaging, and communications standards
• Overseeing social media and email communications
• Supporting conference and membership marketing efforts
• Coordinating advertising, sponsorship, and outreach initiatives

The President-Elect serves as part of a three-year leadership progression:
• President-Elect
• President
• Past-President

Key responsibilities include:
• Supporting and guiding Board operations
• Helping shape organizational priorities and governance

• Assisting with management systems, budgets, and strategic direction
