We had an absolute BLAST at the Jack O’ London Pup Crawl on Saturday! 🐶🎃

The pups came out in style, the scavenger prizes were all found, many treats were enjoyed, and many beverages slurped down 🍹

With over 300 attendees + their canine companions, 16 participating restaurants + bars, and over $1500 raised for Oakland Animal Services (OAS), we are still on Cloud 9! ☁️🐾

Thanks to all who attended, the awesome local businesses that participated, and special thanks to Oakland Animal Services for doing all that you do in our community 🫶

Save the date ‼️ our next bar crawl will happen on the evening of Thurs. December 17! ❄️ Most of the stops will also be dog friendly w/ a few more options as well. Registration opening soon!

The Halloween edition of the Jack London Pup Crawl is TOMORROW! Grab your pup, throw on a costume, and get ready to explore Jack London’s dog-friendly bars, breweries, and restaurants.

Here’s everything you need to know before you go:

🎃 WHEN: Saturday, October 17 | 2–7 PM

📍 CHECK-IN: 333 Broadway (Corner of 4th & Broadway)
Stop by to pick up your pumpkin-patterned wristband before hitting the crawl! Your wristband is required to receive participating businesses’ food and drink specials.

Utilize street parking or park at the Washington St Parking Garage. Have a DD or use rideshare/public transpo!

🍻 THE CRAWL: Visit 16 participating Jack London businesses at your own pace! Enjoy exclusive food and drink specials, explore the neighborhood, and celebrate Halloween with your four-legged bestie. Specials are available from 2–7 PM.

🐕 BRING YOUR PUP: Costumes are highly encouraged! Keep an eye out for dog treats, Halloween candy at select stops, and plenty of festive fun. And NO, you don't need a dog of your own to enjoy the crawl :)

Hopscotch #11 has arrived in Jack London!

Designed by Nadya Voynovskaya , whose vibrant, imaginative murals draw inspiration from the community and invite play, curiosity, and conversation.

This colorful new addition outside Everett and Jones pays tribute to the family’s late mother, Dorothy, drawing inspiration from The Wiz and The Wizard of Oz.

From Dorothy’s ruby slippers and the yellow brick road to the Emerald City, Toto, and the message that there’s no place like home, each detail tells a piece of the story. 💛

Created in collaboration with the Everett & Jones family, this playful tribute brings together art, family history, and a little movie magic right on the sidewalk.
