The Sharon Randolph Foundation

The Sharon Randolph Foundation https://www.unitedcharitable.org/fsp_daf/sharon-randolph-foundation/ Their mission is to increase awareness and early prevention.

Sherron and Stacy Hogg, the two founders of the Sharon Randolph foundation have turned grief into glory. Sherron and Stacy started their breast cancer foundation in 2004 after losing their mother to “the fight” on June 16, 2000. Throughout Sharon Randolph’s two year fight, the two sisters found themselves unprepared and uneducated with regard to how they could help their mother regain her natural

state of vibrancy and emotional health. Accomplishing this will save many lives and ensures that more women live longer, vibrant, and healthier lives. The Sharon Randolph Foundation has three components that were created based on actual experiences with their mother; the Mammogram, Non-Surgical Hair Replacement and Hardship Programs. Because of her generous heart and spirit, Sherron and Stacy desire to help and are committed to touching the lives of breast cancer patients in their mother’s name. They want to help others face the life challenges cancer brings, with dignity and wisdom. They know that their mother would have it no other way. Great advances are being made in treatment and preventative measures; however, continued work is essential to help over 850,000 Californians affected by cancer each year.

Alcoholism & Breast Cancer! Let’s Talk About It.

We don’t talk enough about how the things we normalize can quietly harm us.

Alcoholism doesn’t just affect the liver. It affects families. It affects mental health. And yes! it increases the risk of breast cancer.

As someone who lost my mother to breast cancer at 46, this conversation is personal for me. 💗
No #1
Alcohol is classified as a Group 1 carcinogen. Even moderate drinking can raise the risk of breast cancer because alcohol increases estrogen levels and damages DNA. Many women don’t know that.

This is not about judgment.
This is about awareness.
This is about prevention.
This is about loving ourselves enough to make informed choices.

If you are struggling with alcohol, please know:
You are not weak.
You are not alone.
You are worthy of support and healing.

If you are fighting breast cancer:
You are powerful.
You are seen.
You are not defined by a diagnosis.

Let’s choose health.
Let’s choose healing.
Let’s choose life.

In honor of my mother Sharon Randolph and every woman battling or surviving breast cancer , we keep pushing awareness forward. 🎀

Today, we pause to honor a woman whose strength defies words.
For the past years, has been fighting cancer with a courage and resilience that has inspired everyone blessed to know her. She’s faced moments where others would have given up. She’s been referred to hospice twice and refused both times choosing life, choosing hope, choosing faith.

This time, as her cancer has progressed, Donyelle has accepted hospice care. And even now, her bravery shines. Her spirit is steady. Her heart is still full. And her fight her incredible fight has touched our community in ways she may never fully know.

Today, we honor you, Donyelle.
We send you love, light, and peace.
We thank you for the example you’ve been a reminder of what it looks like to stand strong in the face of the unimaginable.

You are loved.
You are lifted.
And your courage is a blessing to us all. 💗💗

With our deepest respect,
