Oakland LGBTQ Community Center The Oakland LGBTQ Community Center is dedicated to enhancing and sustaining the well-being of LGBTQ+ Oakland LGBTQ Community Center Inc.

was incorporated in June 2017
We moved into our office space on July 10, 2017. The Oakland LGBTQ Community Center is Oakland's first all inclusive LGBTQ center.

🎊💐 Oakland Pride loves and respects those who came before us.
The Oakland Pride Parade & Festival brings out seniors who have been part of the movement for decades.

Our community must be reminded to celebrate and recognize those who came before us. Our LGBTQ seniors, elders and allies lived through times when all LGBTQ+ people were legally criminalized, oppressed and discriminated against. They were fighting back, protesting marching, organizing, and demanding equality from our goverment and communities before many of us were even born.

The freedoms and visibility many of us enjoy today were not simply given to us. They were fought for by generations who faced discrimination, rejection, and tremendous challenges.

Remember those who came before you. Honor their stories. Respect their sacrifices and never take those freedoms for granted. 🏳️‍🌈❤️

Sister Anni Coque l'Doo and the Royal Grand Ducal Council of Alameda & Contra Costa Counties Inc. are seen marching in the Oakland Pride Parade, singing, dancing, and celebrating with the community while helping raise funds for the community and have deep roots in the East Bay's LGBTQ+ community.

The Royal Grand Ducal Council of Alameda and Contra Costa County, Inc. have raised ten's of thousands of dollars to support our services here at the Oakland LGBTQ Community Center and spent decades fundraising, advocating, volunteering, and supporting countless community organizations, events, and causes throughout the Bay Area and beyond.
