OSC is hosting a November meeting at our regular venue at Lake Merritt at the Lakeside Park Garden Center located at 666 Bellevue Avenue in Oakland.

Meeting date is Sunday, November 16th.

Doors open at 1:00 pm and the Meeting starts at 1:30 pm. We try to conclude by 4:00 pm.

Dennis Olivas will be speaking about "Cool growing companion plants for Cymbidiums". He will also be providing an opportunity table.

Carol will be bringing "orchid-gami" sets for sale as a fundraiser for our society. They make great upcoming holiday gifts!

14th Annual Autumn Lights Festival is fast approaching!

We will have a table at the event so come and see us! There will be a selection of plants for sale and membership sign-up is welcome.

We are sorry to announce that our 2025 meeting schedule has been cancelled without notice or discussion. Our reservations at the Lakeside Garden Center, our meeting place for nearly 50 years has been revoked. Please help us by signing this petition and request that our reservations be reinstated!

Program is Masdevallias, with a plant table provided by John Leathers from his Pacifica greenhouses.

Next meeting is on May 19, 2024 at Mimi Rose's home. Demonstrations of repotting and dividing orchids. Members can bring plants that need repotting or other TLC.
